Situated within the breath-taking Treasury Building of 1851, Cafe Opera offers a beautiful setting for any dining occasion.Patrons can choose to be seated within the restaurant with its beautifully grand windows with views of the city or dine alfresco in the dining court of InterContinental Sydney’s historic sandstone arcades.
Ever since Tamas Pamer, Executive Chef, can remember, he has loved nothing more than visiting local food markets with the smell of freshly made bread and the beautiful array of colours from recently picked fruit and vegetables. It is these markets which Tamas visits on a regular basis that provide the inspiration for the market fresh and locally sourced dining experience of Cafe Opera. Guests can choose to dine on the French inspired a la carte fine dining menu, or sample the unique and interactive buffet which showcases local suppliers and growers.
