Best Indonesian in the east, but easily the best Beef Rendang in Sydney! A cosy and very casual little restaurant along a busy road in Randwick, Java offers great value and delicious dishes. Under watchful eye of manager Joe, the service is cheerful and quick - a bit slower when the restaurant is packed. Their spinach with garlic another must and the fish in bananaleaf. Unpretentious and well patronised by Indonesian extended families - great value for money!
