Criniti's. Where to start? Like their massive food and drinks menu, you'll be overwhelmed with choice. Pages and pages of delicious Italian fare trap the eyes when first looking at the menu. Criniti’s have anything and everything here from BBQ ribs to wood-fired pizzas; from risottos to pastas and calzones to salads.
Established in 2003 by an inspired husband and wife team, Parramatta is the original home of Criniti's Southern Italian Cuisine. Good restaurants speak for themselves and over the years, the restaurant became popular amongst the locals but it didn't take long for the news to spread and before long, visitors from across Australia wanted a piece of the action. To become the 200 seater restaurant it is now, Criniti's in Parramatta has experienced a major face lift. Still featuring some of its original rustic wall concepts such as the infamous Wall of Gangsta's, which included the likes of John Gotti to Alfonzo Alcapone, the original sentiment is not lost.
Like their massive food and drinks menu, you'll be overwhelmed with the extensive choice of food on offer. Pages and pages of delicious Italian fare traps the eyes when first looking at the menu, with anything and everything, from BBQ ribs to wood-fired pizzas, risottos to pastas and calzones to salads. Food-wise, Criniti’s pizza menu alone boasts over 55 choices. This is the only restaurant of its kind in Sydney to offer one metre pizzas with your choice of up to three varieties of toppings. Some restaurants compromise the quality of food with a large menu but Criniti's is not one of them. You will find everything on this menu original, fresh and mouth-wateringly delicious.
For those who prefer something other than pizza, there is a range of home-made pastas which you can choose to go with a wide range of sauces. For seafood lovers, try their famous marinara sauce with mussels, calamari, vongole and tiger prawns, virgin oil and a hint of garlic in a napoletana sauce. Spice this up with some chilli and it might just be one of the best pastas you'll ever have. The steak menu features the same kind of "make your own combination" style as the pastas where diners can choose their cut of meat and combine this with one of the many sauces. Try the funghi perhaps, a mushroom and cream sauce with a touch of garlic and white wine.
Mirroring the extensive number of mains is an equally extensive list of drinks and cocktails. Criniti's concept of a cocktails for many people served in a communal bowl is a unique and fun way for people to enjoy a drink between friends or couples. In addition, Criniti’s offers a long list of reds, whites, shots, individual cocktails, champagne and other cold beverages.
If you've still got room for dessert, try the crespelle, a homemade Italian crepe filled with whipped mascarpone, crushed nuts, banana and strawberries topped with hot chocolate fudge served with cream and vanilla gelato.

Criniti's Parramatta
Really enjoyed the one metre pizza and the birthday song with the drums performed by the waiters.
Big servings, yes it's Italian! With a massive menu (too much to choose from) it made choices hard. We had some pizza between our table with our own mains. All were great and very Italian. The staff were great and the atmosphere was fantastic. Can get very crowded so its best to make a reservation. If you go on your birthday, they'll get out the birthday drums and sing happy birthday in Italian.
