Peats Bite is an exclusive water access only restaurant situated approximately an hour North of Sydney on the beautiful Hawkesbury River.

Set on the waters edge Peats Bite’s casual tropical setting allows guests to feel like they could be in another country. Since commencing operations in 1982 Peats Bite has developed a reputation for long relaxed luncheons complimented by a unique menu style, incorporating degustation style entrees and a la carte mains and desserts of modern Australian cuisine.

This family owned and operated business started by Rod and Tammy Miljoen also offers live music on the weekends and a really fun party atmosphere.

Peats Bite also offers overnight accommodation with six loft style rooms. Each room is fitted out with a king size bed and ensuite upstairs and a living area, kitchenette and two single beds downstairs. A fantastic way to get to Peats Bite is a scenic flight along the Northern Beaches with Sydney Seaplanes that operate from Rose Bay.

Lunch and accommodation packages are available and for those with tight schedules the flight is only 20 minutes from Sydney. Peats Bite has a regular water taxi service and ample mooring facilities for those with private vessels.A perfect secluded venue, ideal for corporate entertaining, weddings or special occasions.
