Edge of the Bay Resort has the most commanding, private and exclusive position on Freycinet Peninsula. The resort overlooks a wonder of crystal clear water fringed by pristine coastal bush land and the view from every room expands beyond Great Oyster Bay to the Hazards mountains.

The Resort is a great for activities such as a boat trip or trekking to Wineglass Bay within the Freycinet National Park. Alternatively, a number of activities are available within the realm of Coles Bay such as kayaking, four-wheel bike riding, scenic flights, fishing, boat cruises and golfing to name a few.

Spacious, contemporary waterfront suites with private decks are available, while secluded cottages provide a pleasant roomier option. All have direct access to the beach.

Edge of the Bay is a boutique resort where the owners provide personalised hands-on service to ensure your stay is as productive and relaxing as possible.

Only disadvantage was that you could't turn off the bathroom fan, went on when you opened the bathroom door. In the middle of the night it made it annoying for the person who was asleep.

No curtain on one window, and this was the one that faced sunrise at Xmas, so you awoke when the sun rose
