Nestled inside a 1920′s heritage building in the heart of Canberra, this award winning restaurant continues to serve up excellence in a very relaxed environment, just a 3 minute walk from the city centre.

Chef Clement Chauvin heads the Kitchen team bringing his culinary skill from Lyon, France with experience at 2 Michelin starred “Pic” and “Nicolas La Bec” as well as Gordon Ramsays flagship “Claridges” in London.

Our constantly evolving menu comprises fresh and innovative locally sourced produce where possible, prepared with meticulous attention to detail and has been described as “whimsical pieces of art” as much a feast for the eyes as for the palate.

A stunning new open air garden room, recycled timber outdoor deck and a beautifully refurbished main dining room make Sage the perfect venue for your intimate special occasion right through to a function for up to 200 people. We have a number of private dining options; a gorgeous garden courtyard for relaxed outdoor dining on those balmy summer nights and can cater for weddings, cocktail parties and corporate functions in the beautifully manicured gardens of Gorman House. Also keep your eye out for the opening of “Mint Garden Bar” in the not too distant future.

Located in Braddon only three minutes walk from the city centre and with ample parking at the door step, Sage is also very convenient and easily accessible.
