Moorilla sits on a private peninsula on the Derwent River just fifteen minutes by car from the centre of Tasmania's capital city, Hobart. A jetty provides private and charter access to the site and there is a fast catamaran service from the Hobart waterfront.

The Winery produces refined cool climate wines. Fruit for these wines is grown in Moorilla's Tamar and Derwent Valley vineyards. Winemaker Conor van der Reest concentrates on careful handling of pristine cool climate fruit with minimal intervention.

The Source Restaurant is at the forefront of the Moorilla experience engaging diners with an international gaze informed by the local environment.

Principles that are of great importance to the kitchen include seasonality, sustainability of natural resources, food miles and significantly, the use of local products from small producers. The kitchen consults with a growing network of small suppliers who form the backbone of the operation.

Cellar door proffers guests an exceptional tasting experience, hosted by passionate and educated staff. Beneath John Olsen's 'The Source', with views of Mt. Wellington, the vineyard and the Derwent river, taste world class cool climate wines and unpasteurised beers. They reflect their territory and a dedication to the highest quality craftsmanship.

The eight MONA pavilions overlook the Derwent River and feature artwork from the MONA collection. Four are named for architects who have influenced Australia's architectural landscape; Roy (Grounds), Robin (Boyd), Esmond (Dorney) and Walter (Burley Griffin). The original four pavilions; Arthur (Boyd), Brett (Whiteley), Charles (Blackman) and Sidney (Nolan), have been completely refurbished.

All have access to the heated infinity lap pool, sauna and gymnasium.
