This inspirational venue sits in the trendy Southbank precinct in Brisbane which has raised the city’s dining experience to new heights. 5th Element brings together a chic bar, al fresco dining lounge and wine cellar. Utilising all the elements of fire, water, earth, wind, and the fifth, vast arrays of liquid pleasures of wine, beer and spirits, 5th Element is an experience to remember.

5th Element was created around five enomatic wine preservation systems. The machines preserve the wine uncorked for up to four weeks, allowing tasting over a period without tainting the wine, resulting in a wine connoisseurs dream. There are over 60 wines on offer by the glass with labels including 1988 Penfolds Grange Shiraz, 2005 Cheval de Andes Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2005 Domaine A Fume Sauvignon Blanc. Each label can be accessed via a swipe card which allows guests to try wines as a taste, half or full glass at varying cost levels.

A resident sommelier is on hand to educate guests on the vintages available and discuss how each suits various dishes on the menu. 5th Element is a different take on the dining scene in Brisbane with dishes made to suit the wine rather than the other way round, but this feat ensures guests an exceptional food and wine educational night out.
