Meerea Park is owned by Rhys and Garth Eather and they handcraft their wines using fruit grown on some of the Hunter Valley's oldest and best vineyard sites. They are Hunter Valley "terroirists"; specializing in individual vineyard Semillon and Shiraz, sourced from unique vineyard sites, each being quite different, the wines expressing clearly where they are from. They seek out the oldest vineyards they can for our Shiraz and Semillon fruit that have a track record for producing the best possible fruit in both good and not so good vintages. Meerea Park has established a reputation over the last decade as one of the leading wine producers in the Hunter Valley winning at least one Gold medal at every Hunter Valley wine show since 2002, a feat only enjoyed by a handful of Hunter Valley producers. Rhys and Garth have also enjoyed consistent wine show success at national and international level and received a multitude of accolades emphasizing high quality and exceptional value for money for their range of wines.
